George Beare, MD – A native of Devonshire, educated at Exeter college, Oxford, but a doctor of medicine of Padua of 31st October, 1652, incorporated at Oxford 18th January, 1655-6, was admitted a Candidate of the College of Physicians 11th September, 1656. He practised for a time at Exeter, but then removed to Barnstaple, where he probably died.
