Francis Lee, A.M.—A native of Surrey, born 2nd March, 1661, was educated at Merchant Taylor’s school, whence he was elected in 1679 probationary fellow of St. John’s college, Oxford, as a member of which he proceeded A.B. 9th May, 1683; A.M. 19th March, 1686. In 1691 he was deprived of his fellowship, for being a non-juror, and diverting to medicine, proceeded to Leyden, and on the 11th May, 1692, being then thirty years of age, was inscribed on the physic line there. He was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 25th June, 1708. He died at Gravelines 23rd August, 1719.
