Edward Dawson, MD, was a native of Lincolnshire, educated at Oxford, where, as a member of Lincoln college, he proceeded MB 1621, MD 21st June, 1633. He was admitted a Candidate of the College of Physicians 15th September, 1634; and a Fellow 22nd December, 1634. He did not survive twelve months, as we learn from Hamey, who thus writes: “Doctor Dawson, quem morum candor plurimis commendaverat, quem doctrina Censoribus repetitis examinationibus nuperrimé probaverat, deficit 16th December, 1635.”
