On the 28th August, 1643, being then thirty-eight years of age, and a bachelor of arts, but of what university does not appear, he was entered on the physic line at Leyden, and graduated doctor of medicine at Franeker, 30th April, 1644. He was admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians 11th September, 1646.
