RCP museum's multimedia guide

The RCP museum's multimedia guide is an easy to use handheld device with over two hours of film and images. The multimedia guide features interviews with leading historians and experts to help you explore the RCP, the history of medicine and our museum collection, architecture and garden. The guide is available free from reception during opening hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.

Please note: the RCP is a busy conference venue and some rooms may be unavailable on your visit.

Mission Statement

The history of medicine is the history of life and death, and we are all connected to it. Founded in 1518 by King Henry VIII, the Royal College of Physicians has spent over five centuries changing medicine and working for patients and doctors. It is our mission to engage, inspire and entertain people with the history of medicine and the importance of physicians within it.
