Museum services

Discover an exciting wealth of history, medicine, art and architecture with a fascinating guided tour of the Royal College of Physicians in Regent's Park.


Our expert museum staff offer a range of tours and guided walks. Live virtual guided tours of the RCP collections, history and architecture are available Monday–Friday, 10am–5pm. Group bookings are for a minimum of eight and a maximum of 25 people. Standard tours are one hour and cost £12 per person. 

To ensure availability, please contact us at least two weeks before you would like your tour. To book your tour or for more information, email history@rcp.ac.uk or call 0203 075 1510. In-person tours are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We look forward to welcoming you to the RCP Museum as we are open for visitors.

You no longer need to pre-book your visit. Visits will be free for up to 5 people at a time. For groups of 6+, please get in touch at history@rcp.ac.uk   

On arrival please sign in at our reception desk where you will be given directions and details of available rooms and exhibitions, and will be given a visitor badge.

RCP and COVID-19

In the interest of your own and other attendees’ health and safety, we continue to encourage people visiting our museum to take a lateral flow test before attending. If the test is positive or you are feeling unwell, please do not to visit or attend an event at the RCP.

Our Operational standards for reopening guidelines will provide you with an overview of the measures we are putting in place to ensure your safety when visiting our venue. In addition, we have been awarded the industry standard ‘We’re Good To Go’ certification, meaning our venue has been recognised as one that can open safely and follows current government guidance.
